Dr. Anthony Chettri is a PhD in Social Work from Amity University, Noida (2025), an MSW from the College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan, University of Mumbai, where he was the university topper, and an M.Com from the University of North Bengal. He has more than 20 years of experience in the development sector, from grassroots practice to national leadership, and is currently focused on organisational strategy, programme sustainability and partnerships. Currently he is the Executive Director of the Indo-Global Social Service Society. As a development professional, he has led programme design, capacity building, resource mobilisation and institutional strengthening for civil-society organisations, with expertise in social inclusion, gender, livelihoods, disaster risk reduction and social accountability. He is a published author and recipient of the University of Mumbai’s Tehmina and Sapur F. Desai Prize.
