PROJECT KARTAVYA ON RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL

PROJECT BACKGROUND 

AFPRO initiated a project “Kartavya- Responsible Consumption of Alcohol” in 10 selected villages of Ludhiana, Punjab as a pilot. Under this program AFPRO creates awareness within the rural communities of Ludhiana about the implications of excessive alcohol consumption. The programme fosters behavioural changes that prioritizes individual, family, and community well-being about harmful effects of irresponsible consumption of alcohol. This project is supported by UBL.

The program’s primary objective is to facilitate an informed understanding within the rural communities of the selected villages of Ludhiana, Punjab about the implications of excessive alcohol consumption. The program aims to create awareness about the importance of moderation in alcohol intake and to foster a behavioural change that prioritizes individual, family, and community well-being.
